My First Digital Page

The other night I received an e-mail from a fellow lensmaster on Squidoo, suggesting another wonderful link for my Digital Scrapbooking Freebies lens. The site was Simply Clean Digi Scraps and while I was there, I found the kit “Summer Beginnings” and promptly fell in love. I don’t remember what I was supposed to be working on at the time, but two hours later (and well after midnight, I might add), I had created my first real digital page. And here it is:

All the little details can be found if you click on the picture (it will take you to Flickr).

I thought the funniest thing was when I went to clean up all I had to do was shut down the computer! There was nothing to clean up! Usually, I’ve covered every surface in sight (including the floor) when I’m scrapbooking. Now all I needed to do was click a button… Neat-o!

I also wanted to mention that my friend, Leslie, is giving away a free digital template today as a Valentine’s Day present! And it works with both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Be sure to check it out!

I remember when I first met Leslie at an SCS Marylanders get-together, she was singing the praises of Becky Higgins’ sketch book (so much so that I couldn’t rest until I got a copy for myself!). Now it looks like Leslie is on her way to being the next Becky…

Okay, seriously now, I can’t possibly live up to those expectations! But thanks for sending people over to my blog. cool I’m certainly planning to post another goodie or two . . .

And your page is stunning!!! And your DD, well — absolutely gorgeous! I remember her as this tiny little thing. How do they grow up so quickly?

Among other things, I’m a digital scrapbook designer. It is so awesome to meet another scrapper. I’ve never paper scrapped, except for a few greeting cards, so all I’ve known really is digital. I hope you enjoy it as much I do. Your page is gorgeous. Keep up the good work.
