Here’s this week’s special give away! With all the posts I’ve made this week on how to cover chipboard, I thought it would be fun to give away a set of chipboard pieces for you to go to town on! Now that you know what to do with them, right?! Here they are:

This week’s goodies include:
- Two flowers of differing sizes
- One funky sparkle
- One retro sign
- One hip flower
- Two scalloped squares
To enter to win these fun embellishments, all you need to do is post a comment to answer the following question:
I hereby challenge you to pull it out and play with it this weekend (if you have time, that is)! Or, if you find it intimidating, leave me a comment and let me know what it is. Maybe I can help you with another series uncovering its mysteries.
I will be accepting entries up until midnight on Sunday the 15th (EST). Please, no more then one comment per person! The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Monday the 16th at noon. Best of luck to you!
And be a friend–spread the word!

I’ve been ignoring my Close to My Heart acrylic stamps. They are so neatly filed away in their little pouches and storage box, but I forget about them. I need to stamp out the images and put them in my line of site, so I remember to ink them up.
Fun chipboard!
I have been neglecting metals lately. I used to use them quite a bit but I’ve added nary a charm or bookplate to a layout in a long time. Maybe it’s time to pull them out and play!
I’ve been ingnoring my chip board,
, now that I know what to do with it, it will be ignored no longer, thanks for all the tips. Erica T
Actually, you hit the nail on the nose. I bought the SU chipboard pkg last year and have yet to put it to use.

And, now that I’ve seen you emboss it, well, it’s coming out asap!
Such fun shapes! Actually I’m neglecting everything
I’ve been not feeling 100% and not motivated to go near my stamping mess of a table. But hopefully this weekend — I’ll be looking at your posts and trying some of these techniques!
I have been ignoring beads and embossing powders. Hmmm - I think I could use these on my chipboard now that I have been inspired here.
I have totally been ignorning my retired stamps. There they sit, isolated from the rest of the herd…lonely. I pledge to rescue one of them this weekend and to apply ink liberally.
I’m sure my microbeads are feeling less than loved right about now. Thanks for a great stream of ideas and inspiration this week!
Love all those ideas on chipboard. Makes me really want to get some. It would be awesome to win these, cool assortment!! I have been ignoring my Prima flowers. Got them with a share that Jody hosted and I seem to be shy about using them. Have a Great Weekend!
I have been ignoring my metal edge tages, simply scrappin’ kits, and chipboard. the chipboard was a biggie so thanks for the inspiration! janet in nc
What have I been ignoring…hmm…I feeling so less than enthused lately. I will say my new Papertrey Ink stamps…they are intimidating me for some reason!
Hello! I’ve been ignoring my Fiskars Embosser. I have a bunch of templates that I’ve never even used! It makes me feel guilty. So, it’s coming out today!! Thanks for the inspiration and also for the cool tutorials on chipboard!
Cheryl KVD
I have been ignoring my quickutz, cricut, cropadile, and fastenator. Seems like I have forgotten about all my cool tools!!

Ellie
Thanks so much for all the great chipboard info you’ve been sharing with us. I am guilty of ignoring almost everything lately. Having my upstairs renovated (weekends only) forced me to move my stamp supplies into the kitchen and I am struggling to get creative, organized and back into stamping in my new (temporary) space. I hoping my creativity will return as I miss my stamping. I’m sure its the new space which really doesn’t work well for me but soon I’ll be back in my new better than ever space. Now that I have all this new info on chipboard I can finally get it out and use it on projects.
hi Nicole - another great giveaway. and its perfect because i confess that i totally neglect chipboard. i’m somewhat intimidated, like “what do i do with it” although after your series this week, i’m definitely more prepared with ideas!!
thanks for the inspiration! have a great weekend!
Beth (mommy to a busy 3 1/2 year old)
I have been ignoring my dry embossing templates. I thought I would like the simple elegance of them, but find I want more color. Must be a way! Hmmm… Maybe I could apply ink and beads or glitter like you did with the chipboard? I love that look.
Thank you for all the wonderful chipboard tutorials this week! Hopefully you and your family are feeling back to normal now as well. I would have to say…my retired sets. They are all in a box so I don’t confuse them w/ the current sets. I havent used any of them since last April…Oh that’s awful! I’ll try to get them out this week…thanks for the nudge!
~Lana B.~
I have been neglecting my fascinator (as a matter of fact, I have never used it!). I love your chipboard and would love to be able to use it.
Cheryl
That’s a trick question isn’t it?
Since I haven’t been stamping much of late I could say almost everything,,, but I had to have the new basic grey tablets and they are sitting here staring at me,, so I guess that is what I would say,, along with my new cuttlebug and 5 or 6 dies that I haven’t even taken out of the package,,,,,sigh,,,, after 15 years of eating, thinking, and dreaming stamping I guess I have to be called a collector. I did make a few cards in the last month.. we will call that progress (with remodel looking like it will never end and the 5 grandkids here most days.)
I have been ignoring my Hodgepodge Hardware. It looks so cute in the box and it wasn’t cheap. I really don’t know what I’m saving it for! I’ll use some on my next card and then the box will be open and hopefully I’ll use it more.
Thanks for the challenge!
What fun chipboard! Now that I have found your blog and read how to have fun with chipboard, I’m excited to play. I have been ignoring my punches (collecting dust since I discovered primas!). Think I’ll pull out my stickles and try to create with punches this weekend! Thanks for stirring up creativity!
Lately, it was my fastenator…but I did get it out this week for some fun!
wow how fun!! we get to really practice what we learned… thanks!! =)
I loved to read your post using the micro beads! I have both micro and some colored that Stampin’ Up sell and I have only used them once. I just can’t figure out how to use the colored beads. But boy did they sound like fun when I ordered them! LOL!
These posts have been great - I haven’t played with chipboard much becuase didn’t know exactly what to do with it! And I’ve been neglecting my embossing powder - I need to play with it !
Lately I haven’t been using my embossing powders. But if I win your blog candy, I sure will pull them out and use on the chipboard!
My crimper that I bought a couple of months ago went unused until yesterday. When I first started stamping (10-12 years ago now) I wanted a crimper but never bought one. I finally bought one and finally used it. I find that I do not use my punches as much as I would like to which is funny because I always want more punches too. I think now that I have discovered the world of blog I will use a lot more of my stuff because there are so many inspiring artists out here from whom I can learn. Thanks for all the chipboard ideas and a chance to win some.
(And it looks like I left my comment on the wrong post earlier and was wondering how that happened but I know…..it has to do with a ten month old trying to help mommy type while she looks at all the great cards and stuff with her)
I haven’t made a card all week, can’t seem to get my motor running. But my most ignored (and one of my most expensive) is my Wizard Spellbinder. It does all kinds of fun tricks, yet it’s still sitting in it’s box.

I’ve been ignoring my chipboard… I don’t wanna use it ~ I wanna keep it all for myself!! I really do need to break down and make something! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful blog - and the wonderful blog candy!
Oh there are soooo many things! I collect supplies more than I use them! I do have some chipboard that I’m dying to work with…. I bulk bought a whole bunch of chipboard coasters. I want to make a little box. Maybe this weekend because you’ve inspired me to try!!
Have a great weekend!!
Heather L.
Hi Nicole,
Lately I’ve been ignoring my eyelets. I’m not sure why - maybe because brads are just a little bit easier/quicker? I’ll have to get them out and play with them a little this weekend.
Kerry Morgan
I to was so happy about your chipboard tutorials.I was having no luck. What I,m ignoring now are my recently purchased pearl-ex powders.I would love to see some tutorials on that. Thanks for the chance.
I have been ignoring some paper I bought from Creative Memories about 5 years ago. I’ve noticed there are some polka dots in there–I should use them now since they are the in thing!
I’ve definitely been ignoring my chipboard–well, it’s more of a hoarding thing and not necessarily an ignoring thing but you’ve inspired me to go ahead and use it! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve actually been ignoring that chipboard that I keep buying because I was intimidated by it all. However, thanks to you and your awesome tutorials, I will face my fears and use them this weekend. Thanks!
I have been ignoring the embossing powder. Thanks for the tutorial to use it on the chipboard.
The one thing I have been ignoring are my eyelets. Really a case of laziness….much easier to use a brad!
Lynda
I have always viewed your blog but have never made any comments. Gread giveaway. Along with “chipboard” I have also not used my Dry Embossing templates. Always freak out when I go to use them. lol!! Thanks Barb
I have been neglecting EVERYTHING in my supply closet
I fully intend to spend some time with my stuff, and I have a lot of it, doing some serious stamping on Sunday!!
I’ve been ignoring eyelets. Lately they just seem like too much trouble to bother with.
The case of wine I am hiding? Oh, I wasn’t supposed to say that out loud, was I ?;-) I have been ignoring everythng the last few weeks as I get ready for my son’t wedding in Iowa and doing my taxes which I finished up last night. So tonight I was playing with my sharpie markers on metal charms. Now as I am high from the marker fumes, I need to get out some spring anything. I just put away my winter stamps, altho more snow is coming.
What fun! I tend to ignore my little embellishments - metal tags, buttons, fancy brads, my gold and silver cording, hodgepodge hardware, that kind of thing! I’m good with paper, ink and ribbon, but tend to forget the extras.
Great question! There are several items that I have not used recently however the one I have ignored the longest is my watercolor crayons. Need to get them out this weekend and play! Thanks for offering the chipboard blog candy!
Uh . . . everything that isn’t my computer!!! But you already knew that, my friend!
I thought I told you that I have totally ignored my crimper. It was the greatest thing how many years ago.I have drawers full of things that I have not used. Reinkers, different stamp pads, papers, metallic pens. All sorts of things. Plenty of new stuff being used tho.
I have been ignoring my pearl ex…Seems like with my new cuttlebug that is the main thing I want to use…Maybe using that with versamark and the pearl ex?????
I’ve been neglecting my scrapbooks, I have been stamping, but just cards, and I really want to find some time to scrapbook. Thanks for all the great tutorials.
OMG that isn’t hard…I have been ignoring everything. If it isn’t in front of me I don’t use it. I have quite a collection and not enough time or space to use it all and I am getting very overwhelmed. It’s sad because when I see a card or project made I have to buy everything to make it…then when it comes I don’t have a convenient place to put it and it gets shoved wherever possible then when I find it I say “what am I suppose to make with that?” LOL Anyone else do that?
Thanks for the great tips for chipboard! Now I may even want to get some! I guess I have been neglecting my HodgePodge Hardware, I just hoard it instead of using it!!
Lately I have been ignoring my chalks…I used to use them all the time but haven’t for a while, I have no idea why! Guess, I’ll have to break them out now…:)
I have been ignoring my crop-a-dile. I’ve never even taken it out of the package yet. It’s kind of scary. I bought coasters to make a box, but havn’t opened those either.
OOOH. I’ve been ignoring so much (because I have so much!). I think my pearlex, my twinkling H2Os, my Prismacolor Pencils, and even my prima flowers! All I want to do is stamp and watercolor lately (with aquabrush and reinkers - not even with watercolor crayons!) It is just sooo easy!
Nancy
Sad to say, I have been ignoring all my crafting supplies lately. I haven’t used any of my crafting supplies for a couple of months, but will try to use them today!
Well, it was chipboard until your tutorial & I have used my chipboard 4 times now this week. Thanks for the inspiration!
Like most, I’ve totally ignored my chipboard. I really didn’t know what to do with it and, ok … I’d admit it, I’M A HOARDER!! LOL
I really appreciate the time and effort it took for you to help us with our problems!!
Nicole … your are amazing. I wish I lived closer to you so that I could pick your brain more often!
ive actually been ignoring my STAMPS :ack:! been scrappin more and doing home dec stuff. now i’ve got to come up with some thank you cards…wish me luck!
The half-completed stack of cards from a workshop I had to leave early. I got side-tracked by taxes, which I’d been ignoring while I was going to workshops and reading blogs….

I have been ignoring my eyelets. I have tons and tons all shapes/sizes/brands and probably haven’t used them in over a year.
I have not been using my eyelets much these days. But now that I have the Cropadile I’ll use them more!
I have been ignoring coloured pencils and markers.
Unfortunately, most everything. We’re in the process of relocating and I only brought the bare minimun. (all my pads..didn’t want them to dry out, some stamps, my embossing powders…didn’t want them to get too hot and melt together, and my cutting tools) But we’ve been in this process for 8 months now and I’m missing my stuff. Mostly my ribbons and embellishments. They are all in a box in another state. boo-hoo I also miss my templates and brass stencils. I didn’t realize I did so much dry embossing until it was all in a box in another state. But hopefully soon I’ll be reunited with it. Maybe I should set up a time to go and visit all my ‘toys’ that I miss. Sounds like a good idea to me!
I have been ignoring dry embossing because it confuses me which paste to use when…lol not to bright am I. i love the looks of dry embossing but don’t think I can do it. I love your blog and thanks for offering blog candy. I visit your site everyday but have never made a comment but I promise I will start
My true color pencils. I think they have been used once. I really need to clean out one shelf as I have just stuffed stuff onto it and do not even know what is there anymore.
Yikes…..
Hello Everyone,
I am a golfer myself and I like to play whenever I get a chance.
A short while ago, a very good friend of mine told me about a great golfing equipment and accessories website that has discounted prices on all their products, same day shipping in most cases and there is no state sales tax, they are paying that.
So if any golfer here is ready to save some money on quality products at highly discounted prices, you might want to check out their site at; http://hoffmangolf.com
