Happy Anniversary to Me!

So, I missed my two year Blogging Anniversary by two weeks. Oops! But it all worked out since I only recently made this little anniversary card:

Happiness Always

Some images copyright Stampin’ Up! 1990-2007

You may notice this card was inspired by another swiped Cuttlebug card I made: How to Distress a Cuttlebug.

So, anyway…

Back on May 2, 2005, I began a new little experiment. You see, I never was a very successful Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I felt so frustrated that I had a million great ideas, but no one wanted to play along with me—I could dream up Stamp Camps and Technique Classes but none of my customers would come! So, I decided to take my love of teaching to the internet.

At first, I wrote with a mind towards serving my customers who were on my newsletter list. But I don’t know that any of them ever stopped by to visit my blog! I did however start to attract readers and friends from SCS. So I began to change my tact—How could I help other stampers to be better stampers? ‘Cause I just love to talk about rubber stamping! I know I’m no cardmaking Super Star; I’m just average. But I certainly can talk. Ha!

So, happy two years to me! What a blast it’s been. Every time I get positive feedback from a reader, it just makes my day. I’ll give a little squeal of delight and keep on dreaming up new things to talk about. Thanks for joining me on my stamping adventures. Here’s to even more fun ahead!

Happy stamping!

I can’t believe no one wanted to go “play stamping” (as Rowan would say) with you! Their loss, I guess!
Your blog is wonderful! Congratulations on 2 years!
